Building skills today. Strengthening Sint Maarten tomorrow.

Investing in the Next Generation of Skilled Carpenters

RebuildSXM is supporting the next generation of skilled professionals on Sint Maarten by providing 17 carpentry students at NIPA - the National Institute for Professional Advancement – with brand-new safety boots. This donation helps students prepare for practical training while ensuring they have essential protective equipment to develop their skills safely.

Safety First, Skills for the Future

Learning a trade requires more than knowledge and practice. Access to proper safety equipment is essential for students to gain hands-on experience with confidence and care. By providing these safety boots, RebuildSXM is helping equip aspiring carpenters with the resources they need as they take their first steps towards a career in the construction industry.

Turning Potential into Opportunity

This initiative was made possible after K1SXM brought the students’ needs to our attention. By responding to that need, RebuildSXM is helping bridge the gap between vocational training and the practical resources students need to succeed. We encourage individuals and businesses on Sint Maarten to support these future professionals and consider reaching out to the students for carpentry work as they begin building their careers.

Building Stronger Communities Together

RebuildSXM believes that investing in people is essential to building a stronger, more resilient Sint Maarten. Through collaboration with the St. Maarten Development Fund, NIPA, and the Red Cross Sint Maarten, we are also contributing to a community spaces project that requires contractors for its current phase. We invite qualified contractors to get involved and help turn this initiative into a lasting benefit for the community.
