RebuildSXM was born from the heartbreak of Hurricane Irma's devastation on Sint Maarten, Saba, and Sint Eustatius (SSS islands). With deep ties to these islands, there was a strong desire to help rebuild and help our communities rise stronger.
By connecting local initiatives - from food and clothing drives to rebuilding projects - RebuildSXM brought people together to create a more resilient future for the SSS islands, step by step.

RebuildSXM is a non-profit foundation started in response to the devastation Hurricane Irma caused to the islands of Sint Maarten, Saba, and Sint Eustatius. It began as a social media awareness campaign and grew into a formal organization uniting relief efforts for the islands.
Donations supported three key milestones: providing school supplies, uniforms, and learning materials so children could return to school; funding sports initiatives to help young people cope with the disaster; and supporting programs that helped elderly residents safely get outdoors again.
RebuildSXM isn't actively running anymore, but its mission isn't quite finished. Any funds left over from the original milestones will go toward another project on the islands, so the generosity of everyone who donated keeps making a difference, even now.
Through design, storytelling, and mentorship, I empower underrepresented communities to unlock their potential in tech, finance, and creative industries.
